To conserve water, pressure regulators reduce flow in sinks without affecting service, and wastewater is treated for irrigation in the hotel’s garden and golf course. The hotel also ensures cleaning products used for the pools are replaced with biological alternatives. Plant waste from the hotel’s garden and golf course is processed into fertilizer for the organic garden Eco Finca Tecina. Additionally, the hotel provides a charging area for electric cars to promote their use.

The hotel has been certified by Travellife since 2010 and, due to its continuous improvement in sustainability commitment, received the Gold Award in 2014.
